Members of North Branch Area Legislative Action Committee and Community Education Director Jeanne Leland meet with State Representatives Jeremy Kalin and Rob Eastland, as well as State Senator Rick Olseen on Tuesday, Feb 3, 2009.
The Committee supported increased equity in funding for schools, noting that North Branch received the least per capita funding in the state. The delegation also supported increased funding for schools. Real funding for schools has decreased since 2002.
